Who are we?

The Nuseirat Collective consists of organizations, formed one week after the Nuseirat Camp massacre from which it received its name. The Israeli Occupation Forces and the US military disguised themselves in humanitarian aid trucks, killed a recorded 274 Palestinians, and injured at least 698 others.

Why "Nuseirat"?

The Nuseirat Collective was formed in direct response to Wayne State University's violent dismantling of a peaceful Gaza Solidarity Encampment on May 30th. Police dressed in riot gear assaulted and arrested students, alumni, and community members, targeting those of Muslim descent. The University’s actions contradicted the university's professed values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, exposing a stark racial bias. The Collective is united against Wayne State University’s complicity in the ongoing genocide, and the Collective rejects the University’s support for the colonial Zionist state.
